What is the difference between 100% shade net fabric vs 80% shade net
The percentage is an indicator of the amount of light that is blocked out, not the amount of water that is blocked. So actually waterproof shade net has 0 block out rating and is mistakenly labeled as 100%. Waterproof shade net has an additional layer of clear HDPE or PVC laminated on top to create the waterproofing feature hence increasing the price.

As explained previously, a waterproof shade net is a loosely woven HDPE with a laminate on top. Non-translucent PVC has a base fabric with a laminate or coating on both sides. PVC is more affordable and versatile than waterproof shade net. Waterproof shade net allows light through and therefore is considered semi-translucent.

Does Tarpo Kenya offer warranty on parking car shades?
Yes, we offer a 6 months warranty on the workmanship of the car shade. However, we do not offer a warranty on the fabric/material. This is because we do not manufacture the fabrics ourselves but we can assure you we only use the best and approved outdoor and tensile fabrics in the world.
