Car shade repairs and re-covering
New covers for old frames, frame repairs and a full tidy-up for tired car shades, whoever built them.
Can old car shades be repaired?
Yes. Tarpo repairs car shades in Kenya: we replace torn or faded covers, re-tension sagging fabric, fix or replace damaged frame members and repaint steel. Often a new cover on a sound frame costs far less than a new shade. We also upgrade old shade net to waterproof net, PVC or acrylic.

Repair questions
Do you repair car shades built by other companies?
Yes. We inspect the frame first; if it is sound, we re-cover it, and if not, we recommend repairs or a replacement.
Is re-covering cheaper than a new car shade?
Usually, yes. If the frame is in good condition, a new cover costs much less than a full new shade.
Can I upgrade from shade net to PVC?
Often, yes, but PVC is heavier and catches more wind, so we check the frame and foundations first.
How quickly can you repair a shade?
Once you approve the quote, most re-covers are made in our workshop and fitted within days, weather permitting.
