Sculpted twin-arm steel columns carry a curved roof, leaving the parking bays open on every side.
What is a Y-column car shade?
A Y-column car shade stands on curved twin-arm steel columns placed between parking bays. Each column splits into two arms that reach up to a curved, barrel-shaped roof, so there are no posts along the front or back. It is a statement design for showrooms, hotels, offices and premium homes.

How it is built
The curved arms are rolled and welded in our workshop, then bolted to base plates on site.

Y-column questions
Where do the columns go?
Always in the gaps between cars, so no column stands in a parking space. A two-car module has columns at each end; longer runs add a column between every two or three cars.
Can cars park on both sides of a Y-column shade?
The roof is open front and back, so you can drive in from either side. For very large car parks, ask us about a double-sided layout at the survey.
Is a Y-column shade more expensive than a cantilever?
The curved columns take more fabrication, so it usually costs more than a standard cantilever. Our sales team quotes it alongside a standard option so you can compare.
Can I have it in acrylic canvas?
Yes. The Y-column design can be covered in 80% shade net, waterproof shade net, PVC or acrylic canvas.
